Salvation Message
Mankind was created to enjoy oneness and openness with God. There was no guilt, there were right values and God's holiness was the standard. But then sin entered the picture. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." As individuals we have all rebelled against God, thereby, receiving the penalty of death. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death."
Sin has made us guilty and life has become meaningless. There is no mercy in suffering, no real joy, and no hope for the future. We are appointed once to die, but after this the judgment according to Hebrews 9:27. How frightening to live this one short life with no hope. Oh, the consequences of sin!
However, this is NOT the end of the story. God loves you more than anyone and accepts you just as you are. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God's holiness demands payment and Jesus Christ became that payment for you and I.
The Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and lived the perfect life because He was God in flesh. The holiness of Christ exposed the sinfulness of men's heart and they decided to crucify Him. Jesus willingly gave His live on the Cross at Calvary for you and me. He came to die and having accomplished man's salvation, He cried out from the cross, "It is finished."
His death, however, was not an ordinary death because in three days, He rose from the grave, victorious over death-the ultimate consequence of sin. The gift of eternal life with Jesus is yours if you receive Him as your Savior.
If you believe this salvation message, pray this simple prayer by faith:
"Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and deserve to spend eternity in hell. I am so sorry for my sins. Please forgive me and come into my life and save me. I believed that Jesus died for me and I receive Him as my Savior. Thank you that I am now forgiven and ready to live eternally in heaven with you. Amen!"
